Why working with dogs is a good career choice
- Be your own boss and enjoy home life (you should be self employed, or apply to be)
- Spend your time with animals that show you love, care and attention
- Fit other work from home around caring for dogs to supplement your income
- Choose which dogs you take and be as busy or as free as you like
What we look for in a carer
- You love dogs and put them first
- You have experience caring for dogs, professionally or as an owner
- You know how to act in an emergency and stay calm
- You put the client's dog first when they come to stay
- You are fit, active and healthy
- You have a comfortable, loving home with plenty of space
- If you rent, your landlord has given us written permission
- You are happy to undertake a police (DBS) check
- You are conscientious and alert to potential dangers
- You have a maximum of two pets, both dogs, and both calm, submissive and neutered
- You will not leave the home for more than five hours in total in a day
